Booking procedure

First contact us to check availability of your chosen propert(ies)   and the  exact price (s).  We will confirm full rental and  deposit  details  before taking your booking. We  can then hold a property provisionally for you while you complete the booking process.  Please then fill in the booking form  and send it to us. Once received we will advise full payment instructions.

Payment

All payments must be made in £ sterling.

The deposit required is 25% of the total payment and is non-refundable . For full cancellation /refund details and information about Cancellation Insurance see under How to Book/Cancellation.

If the start of your stay is less than 6 weeks away, then full payment is due.

Payment can be made by:

  1. Credit Card  (Visa, Mastercard).   This. requires 2% administration fee. Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro) : no charge. After filling in and submitting the booking form we will EITHER send you a link to our secure payment page  OR we can telephone you for card details. (for the latter please email us with  suitable time YOUR time and  the best number to call)
  2. Sterling cheque or draft ( banker’s check )
  3. Bank transfer / wire  (please ask us for details, but please note that our bank charges £12 for overseas wire transfers )

Confirmation

On receipt of your deposit we will send you a confirmation of your booking and a receipt and  invoice. Any alterations after this will incur a £30 surcharge. Arrival details and final key instructions will be sent after receipt of your final payment.

Security deposit

We require a security deposit of £250 for short stays (we normally take these by credit card  ). For longer stays of 4 weeks or more , or large properties,  we may  require a larger security deposit . This will always  be by pre arrangement with you before you book.  This is to cover any damage/breakage that may occur or extra cleaning that may be necessary, and for any telephone charges. It means that the owner can keep rates low while keeping the property up to standard, rather than charge higher rates to everyone for the occasional problem. Security deposits are refunded a week after departure.

Cancellation Insurance

We strongly advise all travellers to take out cancellation insurance,  as unforeseen circumstances may make it necessary for you to cancel your trip. This will save you from financial loss.
